Led by Andrew Grim’s match-best 43, Adna boys golf posted the best team score in program history during a 179-245 road win over Ilwaco at Surfside Golf Course in Ilwaco on Monday.
Grim won match medalist honors with his 43, while Braeden Salme and Seth Meister each shot a 45 and Aaron Aselton finished with a 46. Josh McGuire shot a 49 and Chase Collins had a 54.
Ilwaco was led by Logan Siewert’s 53, while Noah Cherry had a 56, Blake Bell a 64 and Corbin Tucker a 72.
“Great day at the beach,” Adna coach Luke Salme said. “Good weather plus good golf scores. First time playing this course for all these guys, and these are impressive scores.”
