The Tenino Young-at-Heart Theatre, the Olympia Elks Lodge and the Rochester Citizens Group will present a dinner theater to celebrate the month of Halloween. The Italian dinner will be a murder mystery dinner titled “Murd-arrr! Pirates of the Salty Dog.”

The story of the murder mystery was described in the announcement as “a tale of ‘Captain Bigbeard’ and his misfit crew of Scallywags! After years of sailing the Seven Seas, (Doing what Pirates do) Captain Bigbeard decides to set anchor on dry land in an attempt to live a life on the straight and narrow. But with the notorious French Privateer, ‘The Razor,’ always hot on his trail …  And a Drunken Pirate that always seems to do the wrong thing … Can Bigbeard and his crew ever truly live a peaceful life?”

Dinner participants will follow the clues of the “murd-arrr” mystery written by Toby Otero, a “manic tale of a stolen treasure chest, sensational swashbuckling, mayhem, mischief and MURD-ARRR!!!” according to the release.

The dinner will be at 7 p.m. on Oct. 14 and Oct. 15 in Rochester’s Swede Hall and at 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Olympia Elks Lodge.

Tickets are $35 and are available online at www.teninoyoungathearttheatre.org.
