The Adna softball team played seven innings but won two games Monday, downing Morton-White Pass 15-0 in three and 16-1 in four in a half-league doubleheader.
Ava Simms took advantage of the offense to throw yet another shortened no-hitter in Game 1 — a shortened perfect game this time, in fact — striking out eight in three 1-2-3 innings. Keegan Ingalsbe was the only Timberwolf to put a ball in play off of her, but it found a glove for an out.
Meanwhile, Danika Hallom went yard as part of a 2-for-2 day at the plate, while Brooklyn Loose and Karlee VonMoos both had two hits of their own and Simms went 3 for 3 with three RBIs.
Emary Hampton went two innings in the circle for the T-Wolves, giving up five earned runs.
In the second, non-league game, Adna continued its world-beating run on offense. Loose hit her fifth home run of May, while Kaydence Groves left the yard as part of a 2-for-2 outing.
Ingalsbe reached on a walk and hit a double, scoring the T-Wolves’ only run of the day in a wild pitch in the fourth inning.
MWP is set to wrap its season up with a non-league game against Mossyrock on Thursday, while Adna will try to seal a perfect league season against Kalama.
