Adna baseball used walks and timely hitting to turn its five hits into a 12-0 victory in four innings over visiting Morton-White Pass in Central 2B League play.

Though the Pirates only tallied five hits, three of those drove in runs. Tristan Percival had an RBI triple, and Danner Hoinowski and Gabe Slape each hit two-run doubles. Sawyer Terry also had a double and Asa Ingle finished with a single to cap the Pirates’ offense.

The Pirates used a six-run first inning to create momentum, following up with two runs in the second and four more in the third.

Asher Guerrero tossed three scoreless innings, striking out four while allowing one hit and three walks. Chance Muller and Hoinowski each threw one inning while striking out one and allowing one hit.

Morton-White Pass’ lone hit came from Brecken Pelletier’s single. Jace Peters started, lasting two-thirds of an inning, while Payton Gordon tossed 2 ⅓ innings of relief.

MWP makes the long trip to Stevenson on Wednesday, while Adna (10-4, 6-2 C2BL) heads to Napavine on Wednesday.
