Playing in front of its home fans for one of the final times this season, the Adna volleyball team swept Onalaska 25-10, 25-4, 25-13, Thursday night in a league matchup.

Seniors Miriam Wilson, Brooklyn Loose, Annie Murphy, Natalie Humphrey, Parker Feist, and Shaina Dunlap were honored before the game, and just about each of them contributed to a win Thursday night.

“It was a successful senior night for the Pirates,” coach Wendie Dotson said. “The Adna student body came out as usual and did a great job supporting us. They do a great job and their support always gives the team additional momentum. The girls did an outstanding job on the service line with aggressive serves with a total of 19 aces on the night. We passed well as a team and we were able to run the offense pretty smoothly.”

Wilson had 2 kills, Loose added 12 assists, three aces, and six digs, and Natalie Humphrey had seven digs and seven aces to lead the seniors.

Gaby Guard had 13 assists, four kills, three digs, and an ace in a well-rounded effort, and Kendall Humphrey had 12 kills, seven digs, and five aces in the win.

The Pirates head to Winlock on Monday for another league matchup.
