With spring just around the corner, registration is still open for the Twin Cities Babe Ruth Baseball, according to the league’s website, with the last day to register for the league being Friday, Feb. 28.
Children ages 13 through 18 are eligible. The single player fee for the season is $295. Those hoping to participate must be signed up by their parents or legal guardians, who must also submit a copy of the player’s birth certificate when applying.
Twin Cities Babe Ruth Baseball offers a 30-day refund policy from a player’s registration date if uniforms have not yet been made. Partial refunds will be given after uniforms have been made in order to still pay for the uniform.
“Our mission is to provide affordable opportunities for kids ages 13-18 in the Lewis County Washington area to play baseball and foster a sense of community and sportsmanship,” the league’s website stated.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available. To register or to sponsor the league, visit Twin Cities Babe Ruth Baseball’s website at https://www.twincitiesbaberuth.com/.
Additionally, for players who have already registered, the league is hosting batting cage days at Chehalis’ Stan Hedwall Park, located at 1501 Rice Road.
