The Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce will hold a grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Greens on Gold cannabis dispensary in Centralia at noon March 31.

Greens on Gold is located at 1039 S. Gold St., Centralia.

The event, which is for those 21 and older, will also include a taco truck from La Placita Restaurant.

Owner Dick Watkins and his staff will be on hand to celebrate the grand opening.

According to a news release from the chamber, a fair amount of effort has been put into curating Greens on Gold over the past decade to bring the cannabis shop to fruition.

“We are so happy to be able to open and provide Centralia with recreational marijuana and support the community that supported us through this process,” Watkins said in the news release.

According to the chamber, “Greens on Gold provides a relaxed atmosphere, wide selection and excellent service, and is a member of the Centralia-Chehalis Chamber of Commerce, Centralia Downtown Association and The Economic Alliance of Lewis County.”

Glass on Gold, a glass shop next door to the cannabis dispensary, is also set to open soon.
