Riverhawks Can’t Keep Up With Chinooks in District Semis

Toledo produced just three shots, and Kalama scored three times, as the Chinooks ran past the Riverhawks, 3-0, in the district semifinals Thursday night.

The Riverhawks played on their heels almost all night, with Daphnie Bybee facing 12 shots and saving nine, and the offense not doing enough to create chances to score.

The shorthanded Toledo squad will now take on Onalaska in the 3rd-place game on Saturday at 10 a.m. in Centralia. The Riverhawks have already locked up a state bid.
