The Toledo volleyball team got faster as the night went on in Cathlamet Tuesday, sweeping Wahkiakum 25-18, 25-16, 25-8 in a Central 2B League showdown.
Ellie Fallon had seven kills on .313 hitting to lead the Riverhawks (4-6, 1-2 C2BL) in their first league win. She also had 11 digs.
Lyndzie Filla led the defense with 13 digs, while Stefa Arceo-Hansen had 12 digs, four kills and a team-high six aces. Jordynne Hensley had five aces, 10 digs, three kills and two blocks.
The Riverhawks will head home for a rivalry matchup Thursday against Winlock; the Cardinals beat them in five sets earlier this season in a non-league clash.
