Fueled by an all-around game from senior Ryker Sorenson and an early cushion, the Toledo High School baseball team picked up a 10-2 triumph over Toutle Lake in a road C2BL contest on Friday night.
Two days after getting clipped 3-2, the Riverhawks (8-2, 7-1 C2BL) broke out the offense once again. In six of their seven league wins, they have scored at least 10 runs and allowed a combined nine runs.
Sorenson danced around five hits and four walks to limit the Ducks to just two runs in the fifth. He also notched a two-run single in the second to put Toledo up 4-0. It added three more in the top half of the fifth and sixth innings.
Rohan Feigenbaum went 2-for-4 with a double, three stolen bases and two runs scored out of the Riverhawks’ leadoff spot. Nico Acosta and Christian Martin each drove in a pair of runs.
Toledo gets a midweek non-league game at Charles Wright Academy on Thursday afternoon before returning to C2BL play on April 16 against Rainier.
