Needing far less dramatics to defeat its rivals on its home gym, the Toledo volleyball team defeated Winlock in straight-sets Tuesday, 25-17, 25-21, 25-16.
The Riverhawks played an all-around sound game, with Aleena Bloomstrom serving a perfect 20 of 20, Lyndzie Filla earning seven digs and Stefani Arceo-Hansen digging up seven balls and recording seven kills in the win.
“Being in our gym with a much higher ceiling was helpful,” Riverhawks coach Kelli Larson said. “The girls addressed a couple things offensively from last week, and it helped them get into position to have more options tonight.”
The Riverhawks take on Adna next on Thursday at home.
