Taking two dominant wins over Rainier at home, the Toledo baseball team won each of its doubleheader games against the Mountaineers, 10-0 and 9-0, Saturday afternoon.
The Riverhawks allowed a combined three hits over the 18 innings, squashing any kind of offense the Mountaineers tried to muster Saturday.
Caiden Schultz pitched a complete game shutout in the first contest, a 10-0 win, allowing just one hit with two walks and 11 punchouts. Austin Norris tripled home a run, and Kaven Winters added a 3 for 4 line with two runs scored and a pair of doubles at the plate.
In the second game, Rogan Stanley and Winters combined to allow just two hits in a 9-0 win, striking out 11 as a pair over the nine inning game.
Schultz went 2 for 3 with two runs scored in the second game and Geoffrey Glass had a pair of hits to highlight Toledo batters.
Toledo returns to league action next against rival Winlock on Wednesday while Rainier heads out to Adna for another Central 2B matchup.
