Riverhawks Take Down T-Wolves in Six

Posted

Thanks to a dominant pitching display from Caiden Schultz, and a balanced day at the plate, the Toledo baseball team ran away from Morton-White Pass Friday evening, 10-0, in Morton.

The Riverhawks were led throughout by Schultz, who pitched all six innings, struck out 12 batters, and allowed just one hit. The pitcher also added two hits at the plate with two runs batted in. Junior Geoffrey Glass also was dominant, going 3 for 4 with four RBIs.

Timberwolves third baseman Brecken Pelletier broke up Schultz’ no-hitter attempt with the T-Wolves' only hit of the day in one of three of his at-bats.

The Riverhawks will look to keep it going against Adna Thursday on the road.
