Sandra Sue Anderson, a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Friday, March 19, 2021, surrounded by loved ones at her home in Mossyrock, Wash. She was 72 years young. She was born Oct. 4, 1948, in Morton, Wash.

Sandy was loved and adored by so many and had a smile that could set even the most worried mind at ease. She would do anything for her family and friends, and all of the love she shared with them will live on in their cherished memories of her. Sandy had a huge heart and many loves in life. These included raising her horses, spending time outdoors in the sunshine with her cat, Everest, at her feet, going to the beach and on car rides with grandpa, and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren.

Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, Myrtle and Lonzo Hunt, and Pete Phillips; brother, Jim Phillips; sister, Carolyn Phillips; daughter, Tina Goble; and granddaughter Hanna Halverson.

Sandy will be greatly loved and remembered by those she leaves behind, including her husband, Steve Anderson; brother, Gib Niemi of Glenoma, Wash.; children, Trina and Travis Pelletier and Bill and Jami Goble, all of Mossyrock, and Jo and Shane Garnas of Chehalis; grandchildren, Tom Richart, Tisa and Grant Rimmereid, Josh Goble, and Camron Goble, all of Mossyrock, and Tara and Tig Maxwell, Cody Paschich, Noah Halverson and Spencer Halverson, all of Chehalis; her great-grandchildren, Bryce Maxwell of Chehalis and Colton, Waylon, and Ella Rimmereid of Mossyrock.

Sandy's family will be having a graveside service for her closest family and friends early this summer in the warm summer sunshine, as Sandy would have preferred. She’ll be laid to rest next to her granddaughter, Hanna, at Doss Cemetery in Mossyrock. Arrangements are under the care of Cattermole Funeral Home.
