Sarah Askin was recently declared the champion of the Riverside Ladies Golf Club for the 2022 season.
Askin, a former golfer at Centralia High School and George Fox University, won the three-day Eclectic Tournament that determines the club champion.
This year was Askin’s first with the Ladies Golf Club, but she was familiar with the Riverside Golf Club from her high school years.
In addition to Askin, June Moran was declared most improved.
The Riverside Ladies Golf Club currently has 28 members. Members play a regulation 18 holes, keeping track of their handicap online. Most weeks feature a tournament sponsored by various members.
The 2023 season begins in April. For those wishing to join, membership forms are available at the Riverside Golf Club clubhouse.
