On June 20, 2021, Sharon Elizabeth Singleton-Wisner went home to be with our Lord after a long battle with congestive heart failure. She was 80 years old.
Sharon was born in the Parkland area of Pierce County, Washington, on May 3, 1941, to Jonathan (Roy) and Gladys Anderson. After graduating from Franklin Pierce High School, she met and married Ronald P. Singleton, of Massachusetts, who was stationed at McChord Air Force Base. While married to Ron, they had five sons: Darryl, Ron Jr., Chuck, Eric and David.
In 1979, after divorcing, Sharon moved with her sons to Chehalis, Washington, where she was employed by Yard Birds Shopping Center for several years. Later she worked for Sunbirds and Providence Centralia Hospital until retiring.
In 1981, she remarried Ron, and she was with him until his death in 2016. Both were members in good standing of the Order of Eastern Star, where Sharon served as Worthy Matron of both Centralia and Chehalis chapters.
In July of 2020, Sharon married Mr. Leroy Wisner of Adna, Washington. Sharon is survived by her husband Leroy and five sons, two daughters-in-law and nine grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Norm (Royanne) Anderson of Chehalis, ED (Debbie) of Long Beach, Washington, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. July 31, 2021, at the Adna Grange. A light meal will be served after the service.
Remembrances can be made to the Adna Scholarship Foundation, P.O. Box 93, Adna, Washington 98532, with a note referring it for the Wisner Scholarship Fund.
