CENTRALIA POLICE DEPARTMENT

Crash

• A non-injury, three-vehicle collision at the intersection of South Pearl and West Cherry streets was reported just after 7:30 a.m. on June 9.

 

Sexual Misconduct

• A possible case of sexual misconduct involving a child reported in the 1200 block of View Avenue just after 2:20 p.m. on June 9 is under investigation.

 

Theft

• Medication was reported stolen from the 900 block of South Scheuber Road just after 2:45 p.m. on June 9.

• Shoplifting was reported at a business in the 1300 block of Lum Road just after 6:45 p.m. on June 9.

• A Portland woman was cited for third-degree theft in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue at 7:25 p.m. on June 9.

• Bicycles were reported stolen from the 1200 block off West Main Street at 10:10 a.m. on June 10.

• Merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 1400 block of Lum Road at approximately 2 p.m. on June 10.

• A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of East Summa Street just after 2:45 p.m. on June 10.

• Merchandise was reported stolen from a business in the 1400 block of Lum Road just after 3:45 p.m. on June 10.

CHEHALIS POLICE DEPARTMENT

Assault

• Alec W. Busby, 21, of Chehalis, was arrested in the 300 block of Southwest Third Street just before 9:25 a.m. on June 9 and was booked into the Lewis County Jail for alleged fourth-degree assault

• An assault reported in the 300 block of Southwest 11th Street at approximately 12:10 p.m. on June 9 is under investigation.

• A fourth-degree assault reported in the 500 block of North Market Boulevard just after 3:40 p.m. on June 10 is under investigation.

 



Theft and Burglary

• A second-degree burglary reported in the 1300 block of South Market Boulevard just after 12:30 p.m. on June 9 is under investigation.

• A second-degree theft was reported in the 1500 block of Northwest State Avenue at approximately 3:25 p.m. on June 9.

• A subject was cited for shoplifting in the 1700 block of North National Avenue just after 5:05 p.m. on June 9.

• Two clippers were reported stolen from the 1500 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue just after 4:35 p.m. on June 10.

• Just after 8 p.m. on June 10, there was a report of a subject who had allegedly shoplifted from multiple businesses in the 1400 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue. No arrests were made.

• Two teenagers reportedly shoved a store employee and stole liquor from the 1100 block of South Market Boulevard at approximately 10:20 p.m. on June 10. No arrests were made.

 

Malicious Mischief

• A report of second-degree malicious mischief in the 1500 block of Northwest State Avenue at approximately 6:40 a.m. on June 10 is under investigation.

 

Crashes

• At 2:15 p.m. on June 10, a caller reported a vehicle had crashed into a telephone pole in the 600 block of West Main Street and the driver was unconscious. The driver regained consciousness a couple minutes later.

• A non-injury, two-vehicle collision in the 1600 block of Northwest Louisiana Avenue was reported just before 3:20 p.m. on June 10.

 

LEWIS COUNTY JAIL STATISTICS

As of Friday morning, the Lewis County Jail had a total system population of 130 inmates, including 117 in the general population and 13 in the Work Ethic and Restitution Center. Of general population inmates, 92 were reported male and 25 were reported female. All WERC inmates were reported male.
