Criminal Trespassing
• Police were dispatched to a business in the 700 block of Harrison Avenue at about 12:15 p.m. May 24 for a report of a disorderly male who used or attempted to use methamphetamine in the business’s bathroom and refused to leave after numerous requests by employees. Officers arrived at the scene and escorted the male outside. During a consent search, officers located suspected methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe on the man. Larry Castillo, 40, of Monroe, was arrested and booked into the Lewis County Jail for first-degree criminal trespassing. Castillo was also referred to Centralia Municipal Court for knowingly possessing a controlled substance.
• At about 6:25 a.m. May 25, officers were called to a business in the 900 block of Harrison Avenue because a transient male was refusing to leave the property. Officers contacted a 52-year-old man from Tukwila and he “was moved along.”
Harassment
• Police are investigating a case where one student was threatening another student over social media at the middle school. The report of harassment was made at 9:53 a.m. May 24 in the 900 block of Johnson Road.
Suspicious Circumstances
• Officers responded to the 1500 block of Central Boulevard at about 9:56 a.m. May 24 after neighbors reported hearing a woman screaming near the Skookumchuck River. Officers located the woman, who was transient from Winlock, living in a camp. She said she was upset that her dog ran off.
Theft
• Officers responded to two incidents of theft at about 11:28 a.m. May 24 in the 1100 block of Harrison Avenue where a white male driving a white Mazda stole from two different locations.
Drugs Arrests
• At about 12:51 May 25 in the 1000 block of Eckersen Road, officers contacted occupants in a suspicious vehicle parked on the shoulder and observed suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. During the contact, methamphetamine, fentanyl, unknown pills and various drug paraphernalia were recovered from the vehicle. Daisy R. Haunreither-Holmes, 22, of Centralia, was referred to the Centralia Municipal Court for knowingly possessing a controlled substance. Darren T.S. Brewer, 23, of Glenoma, was arrested and released with a summons to appear for two outstanding Centralia Municipal Court warrants.
