Rep. Peter Abbarno, R-Centralia, recently met with students from Centralia Christian School on their tour of the state Capitol building.
Prior to the session, Abbaro visited a northwest history class at the school. According to a news release, Abbarno quizzed the students on civics, state and local issues, and the history of the Capitol building during the students' visit to Olympia on Jan. 22.
"Whenever I get a chance to meet with students from the district, it's always the highlight of my day," Abbarno said. "Capitol visits give folks a front row seat to the process of 147 people from all walks of life, backgrounds, and beliefs trying to do what's best for their districts and state. It's a valuable educational experience for both kids and adults.”
