The Tumwater girls soccer team pitched its eighth shutout in a row Thursday night at Sid Otton Field, beating Rochester 7-0 in 2A EvCo action.

The T-Birds (9-0, 6-0 2A EvCo) led 4-0 at halftime behind goals from Taytem Becker, Ava Jones, Kennedy Reidl and Cassidy Hedin, then added three more in the second half.

The Warriors (3-5, 1-4 2A EvCo) will be back in action next Tuesday with a league game against W.F. West. Tumwater is set to have its league bye, but will go south to take on 4A Union in a non-league duel.
