T-Wolves can’t keep up in loss to Vikings

The Morton-White Pass football team made a trip north to face Bellevue Christian on Friday night, and the Timberwolves were defeated 39-6.

The T-Wolves marched down the field on their first drive, but fumbled it away at the 10.

“That just kind of set the tone for the game,” MWP coach Lee Metcalf said. “We did not play well.”

Bellevue Christian scored the first 26 points of the game before Kohen Ingalsbe got MWP on the board with an 11-yard touchdown run in the third, but BC followed with the final 13 points of the game in the fourth.

“We just couldn’t finish drives, which is frustrating,” Metcalf said. “We just gotta get better than that.”

Logan Mays finished with 91 rushing yards, while Ingalsbe finished with 32 and Liam Pelletier added 28.

Morton-White Pass (3-3, 1-1 C2BL East) will return to White Pass next Friday, Oct. 17 to host Toledo.
