Morton-White Pass used a slew of layups to shoot a scorching 62% from the field as the Timberwolves catapulted past Onalaska for an 86-37 road win on Saturday.

MWP senior power forward Gary Dotson exploded for a season-high 31 points, while cousins Leytan Collette and Kysen Collette added 14 points and 13 points, respectively.

The Timberwolves attacked the rim all night offensively and finished 37 of 60 from the field.

“I can’t even remember the last time we gave up 86 points,” Onalaska coach Wayne Nelson said. “We didn’t get back and we didn’t talk.”

While MWP was lighting up the nets, Onalaska was struggling with another poor night of shooting, connecting on just 15 of 45 (33%), including 2 of 15 from downtown.

The Loggers were led offensively by Mason Ulery’s 13 points, while Kole Taylor added nine and Juan Ibarra tallied eight.

MWP won the rebounding battle 26-18.

Morton-White Pass (5-2) hosts Class 1A Eatonville on Monday in non-league play. Onalaska falls to 1-4 and has now lost three straight. The Loggers host Pacific 2B League’s South Bend on Tuesday in non-league play.
