Gary Dotson dropped 25 points and Morton-White Pass erupted for an 86-45 win over visiting Mossyrock in non-league action Thursday night.

Dotson added 11 rebounds while Leytan Collette scored 16 points, Matt Cooper added nine and David Martinez had seven as the Timberwolves jumped out to a 23-10 lead in the first quarter and never looked back.

“We came out and established our pace of play and our identity,” MWP coach Chad Cramer said. “We settled in and tried running a few different things offensively and defensively. We put together a solid game, especially in the first half.”

Keegan Kolb led the Vikings with a game-high 29 points, while Hunter Isom and Warren Nelson each added six points. The Vikings are playing without all-area pick Gunner Mulligan, who suffered an injury during football season.

Morton-White Pass, which won its second-straight game to start the season, hit nine 3-pointers on the night.

“Really happy with our shooting,” Cramer said. “We were able to score inside and outside.”

MWP (2-0) travels to Kalama on Wednesday. Mossyrock (0-1) heads to Onalaska on Friday.
