Twin City Union made the finals in three separate divisions over the weekend at Tumwater in the 44th annual Kick in the Grass, with its 13/14 boys team taking home first place.
The TCU boys swept through pool play with a 6-1 win Friday and a 3-1 victory Saturday. That sent them to the semifinals, where they beat the CBSC Fire Jaguars 6-0 in the semifinals before coming back for their second match of the day and beating the Rockets 4-2 in the title game.
Elsewhere, the TCU 13/14 girls team split its two pool play games before coming away with a 3-2 win in the semifinals, but fell 3-2 in its title game. The 16u girls squad went 2-1 in pool play, making it to the championship, where it lost 2-1.
