The Twin City Wrestling Club broke in the new lights at the Northwest Sports Hub over the weekend, hosting a pair of tournaments.
Saturday, the Hub hosted the Twin City Youth League Championship, with 11 area teams taking to the mat. Adna won the tournament with 221.5 points, followed by Willapa (218), Chehalis (216) — which finished with 13 individual champions to lead the pack in that way — Napavine (209) and Rochester (206).
The next day, TCWC hosted — and won — a Washington State Wrestling Association folkstyle tournament, beating out Longview/Kelso’s Thunder Mountain for first by 18 points. The Northwest Washington Wrestling Club of Kitsap County was third.
