For the second time in four days, the Beavers went over 20 runs and ended their season with a 22-12, five-inning victory over Castle Rock on Monday night at home.

After entering the month of May winless, Tenino (3-15) won three times in a week span. It returns a vast majority of its roster for 2026, losing only Brianna Asay to graduation.

“We’re really excited for next year,” Beavers head coach Chris Johnson said. “It’s all about the momentum we’ve built at the end to start moving forward for next year. This (game) kinda showed what they’re capable of doing.”

Down 6-2 entering the bottom of the third, Tenino took the lead for good with a nine-run outburst. Kylie Gonia gave it the lead with a two-run base hit, then Katie Burkhardt and Chloe Grayless each added two-run doubles.

The Beavers piled on with four in the fourth and seven in the fifth to end the game early. Burkhardt and Grayless each recorded four RBIs on a combined five doubles while Gonia also drove in four on two hits.
