The Tumwater baseball team had no issues at the plate against Black Hills on Wednesday, as the T-Birds scored at will in a 23-1 victory.

Tumwater scored at least five runs in each of the four innings it came to the plate, including a six-spot in the first and a seven-spot in the third.

Eleven different T-Birds tallied a hit, including Lyle Overbay, who went 3 for 3 with three runs batted in. Braeden Konrad added a hit and two walks, and he drove in two. Jimmy Womach drilled a triple, while Charlie Crawford and Peyton Davis hit doubles.

Derek Thompson threw three hitless innings, and Spencer Fillippone allowed one hit and one run in two innings of relief

Brody Rice drove in the Wolves' lone run with an RBI single in the fifth.

Tumwater (4-4, 2-0 2A EvCo) and Black Hills (1-2, 1-1 2A EvCo) are set to play the second of their two-game set on Thursday at Black Hills.
