Thurston County Sheriff’s Office Asks Public for Help Identifying Grand Mound Bank Robbery Suspect

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying the suspect in a bank robbery that occurred in the Grand Mound area.

The suspect allegedly passed a note to a bank teller at approximately 2 p.m. on Aug. 27 “demanding cash ‘or else,’” according to a news release from the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office.

He left the bank on foot and likely left the area in a vehicle parked across the street from the bank, which is located in the 19700 block of Southwest Old Highway 99 in Rochester.
