The Chehalis-Centralia Railroad and Museum (CCRM) invites everyone to “Go Green” on March 15 with a special St. Patrick’s Day two-hour dinner excursion in the railroad’s 1920s dining car.

The dinner excursion, catered by Joy’s Once Upon a Thyme, will take place on Saturday, March 15, at 5 p.m.

When purchasing tickets, guests can choose between a hearty rustic Irish stew or a vegetarian option featuring a portobello mushroom entrée.

“This scenic two-hour round-trip journey is the perfect way to embrace the Irish spirit — so be sure to wear your green to keep the leprechauns away!” CCRM said in a news release.

The cost is $89 per person, which includes a three-course meal and the train ride. Tables seat four in the dining car.

One group can reserve a private spot in the newly restored Spokane, Portland and Seattle 99 Business Coach, “so make sure to reserve your tickets early,” CCRM said.

Reservations must be made at least five days before the departure date.

The train departs from the Chehalis-Centralia Train Depot, located at 1101 SW Sylvenus St. in Chehalis.

“This special excursion is limited to 100 guests, so be sure to make your reservation soon,” CCRM stated.
