The Napavine football team is headed back to the 2B State Tournament, as the Tigers topped Morton-White Pass 62-24 Friday night in a crossover in Napavine.

Grady Wilson was rolling early, as he threw for four touchdown passes in the first half, including two to Karsen Denault. Denault also returned a punt for a touchdown in the opening half, while Masen Jeg and Caleb Von Pressentin hit paydirt on the ground.

By halftime, Napavine led 48-0, and Pono Moniz-Taitague and Talon Tabor added touchdowns in the second half.

Wilson finished with 204 yards and four touchdowns through the air, while Beckett Landram, Colin Shields, and Denault all tallied at least 60 receiving yards and scored.

The Timberwolves were able to find the end zone a few times in the second half, starting with a Judah Kelly touchdown run in the third quarter. Logan Mays scored twice, first on a rushing TD before he returned a fumble for a scoop-and-score.

Kelly finished with 94 yards rushing, and Mays added 85 yards of total offense.

Napavine will learn its seeding and first round opponent on Sunday, while Morton-White Pass finishes its season 5-5. The T-Wolves will graduate six seniors, including Kelly.
