Tigers Efficient in Win Over Wolves

Led by a strong day at the plate, the Centralia softball team blitzed Black Hills in a 9-4 victory. 

The Tigers Ella Orr went 2 for 3 with an RBI and a walk, Jimena Luis knocked in two runs and was walked twice, and Liza Hubbard hit a two-RBI triple to lead the way for the offense. 

In the circle, Peyton Smith threw a complete game with four earned runs and eight strikeouts. 

For the Wolves, Zoey Theophilus started in the circle and went five innings with four strikeouts. Ella Goheen relieved her and pitched a hitless inning. Theophilus also knocked in the Wolves four runs, going 3 for 4. Elena Jones added two runs scored and a 3 for 3 line with a walk. 

Centralia will play W.F. West Wednesday in the last game of the season series with the Bearcats, while the Wolves take on Tumwater, both games at 4:30 p.m.
