The Centralia girls basketball team lost Saturday to cap a winless weekend at its home tournament, 59-42 to Yelm.

The Tigers (1-10, 0-6 2A EvCo) found themselves in a 29-12 hole at halftime, and while they played the Tornados even across the second half, it was too big a deficit to come back from.

Brooklyn Sprague led the hosts with 14 points. Makayla Chavez and Payton Baumel both had seven, and Makenzie Erickson had five.

The Tigers will be back in action Wednesday, with a league game at Shelton.
