Tigers Fall to Wolves on the Road

The Black Hills girls tennis team defeated Centralia by way of a tiebreaker, after splitting the matches evenly at 3-3. The Wolves won 61 total games to the Tigers’ 57 for the tiebreaking win.  

First singles: Olivia Norris (CEN) def. Cassidy Pearson (BH) 6-2, 6-2

Second singles: Aurora Glassburn (BH) def. Brook Frakes (CEN) 2-6, 6-4, 6-1

Third singles: Suki Bringman (CEN) def. Krista Skinner (BH) 7-5, 6-3



First doubles: Stella Moore/Chloe Witcraft (BH) def. Maya Lackie/Maddy Breckel (CEN) 6-1, 6-0 

Second doubles: Sophia Wiley/Aydan Butler (CEN) def. Hailey Carey/Charlotte Michaud (BH) 4-6, 6-2, 6-3

Third doubles: Tarika Deol/Sophie Oakes (BH) def. Eden Glunt/Camila Garibay (CEN) 6-1, 6-3

The Tigers and Wolves will both play their third match in as many days Wednesday as Centralia will head to the Harbor to take on Aberdeen, and Black Hills will travel south to face W.F. West for another 2A Evergreen Conference matchup for both squads.
