Makensee Taliaferro Bouge notched a brace and Napavine cruised past visiting Forks for a 4-0 shutout victory in 2B Central League North Division action on Wednesday.

It was senior Natalya Marcial who kicked off the scoring, bending it like Beckham off a corner kick in the 7th minute to put the Tigers up, 1-0.

Taliaferro Bouge then notched her first goal from an assist by Marcial in the 24th minute to give the Tigers a 2-0 cushion heading into halftime.

Grace Pancake scored in the 42nd minute off a Dani Tupuola assist and Taliaferro Bouge connected on her second goal in the 48th minute to end the scoring.

“It felt like we were in control a lot of the game and we found some things to improve on,” Napavine assistant coach Chris Tarabochia said. “It’s always nice when we can control the ball like we did.”

Napavine improves to 6-2 overall and 2-1 in league. The Tigers travel to Ocosta on Monday and to Ilwaco on Wednesday.
