The Centralia girls golf team lost a home match against Aberdeen on Tuesday, falling 77-61 at Riverside Golf Course.

The Tigers, led by Emily Wilkerson’s 19 and Tess McMurry’s 18, did well, but Saylor Heikkila and Kaitlyn McCracken combined for 44 points to lead the Bobcats to the win.

Lily Ferch added 12 points for the Tigers, and Lyla Aumiller and Corin Meek combined to tally 12 more.

“They have threescorers that have some state experience and played pretty well,” Centralia coach Hal Gronseth said. “Emily and Tess were right up there … We’re close to being able to compete with them.”

The Tigers are now off for the next two weeks. They’ll return to action at Riverside on April 10 against Shelton.
