Centralia girls tennis got wins in No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles but Tumwater was able to nab the rest of the matchups as the Thunderbirds took a 4-2 victory in 2A Evergreen Conference action on Thursday.

“Tumwater is a solid team and all of the Centralia girls played very well,” Centralia coach Scott Snyder said. “Very proud of all the girls.”

  • No. 1 singles: Olivia Kee (T) defeated Evie Rooklidge (C), 6-3, 6-4
  • No. 2 singles: Norah Sas (C) defeated Kendall Gjurasic (T), 7-6, 8-6
  • No. 3 singles: Zoe Guintoli (T) defeated Olivia Norris (C), 6-1, 6-1
  • No. 1 doubles: Aubrey Amendala and Regan Brewer (T) defeated Liza Hopkins and Maddie Corwin (C), 7-6, 6-1
  • No. 2 doubles: Maya O’Dell and Serina Stehr (C) defeated Makenna Jenson and Brooke Borovec (T), 6-3, 6-4
  • No. 3 doubles: Emily Meek and Jianna Wiedenmeyer (T) defeated Maya Lackie and Maddy Breckel (C), 6-2, 6-4
