The Morton-White Pass boys basketball team had the hot hand early, as they scored 20 in the first quarter, in what would turn out to be a dominant win over Stevenson, 70-25.
Jace Peters led the Timberwolves in scoring with 16 points. It was an all-around team effort, with 10 players getting in the scorebooks and three players getting into double-digits.
“We wanted to come out and dominate early,” Timberwolves coach Chad Cramer said. “It was the middle game of three games in three days for us, everyone got a lot of minutes and the scoring got spread around, and we were able to rest our starters because we took care of business early.”
The T-Wolves (11-4, 6-1 C2BL) take on Adna tomorrow in Adna.
