Led by an impressive rushing attack and an efficient passing performance, the Pe Ell-Willapa Valley football team vanquished Ilwaco on the coast, 43-0, Friday night.

The Titans pounded the ball for 261 yards, and held the Fishermen to just 56 total yards in a strong performance as the regular season winds down.

“We came out firing on all cylinders,” Titans coach Josh Fluke said. “As a whole, everybody had a good game.”

Blake Howard rushed for 83 yards and two touchdowns, Derek Fluke found the end zone, along with Tyler Adkins, Kolton Fluke, and Joseph Krafczyk, and the Titans picked up their fourth league win of the season.

Headed into an all-important final week against North Beach, the Titans are currently third in the Central 2B League north division.

“We gotta stay on a roll,” Fluke said. “We’ll try to keep focused and keep the foot on the throttle.”
