It was all Toledo all day Saturday, as the Riverhawks’ girls basketball team dismantled Friday Harbor in a 56-14 win.
The Wolverines were missing a few players with the flu, and Toledo had little issue pulling away quickly.
The Riverhawks led by 18 after one quarter, 29 at halftime, and 46 after three. They allowed just six points in the first three quarters, including a shutout in the third.
“Our girls came out and took care of business early,” Toledo coach Randy Wood said.
Ryah Stanley scored 23 points to lead the way, and Hope Gould added 12.
“It was good to see those two shoot so well today,” Wood said.
Peyton Holter added six points, while Kailea Lairson-Young and Ellie Fallon both scored four.
The Riverhawks (4-3, 1-0 C2BL) will be in Ellensburg on Friday and Saturday, when they face Warden and Coupeville at Central Washington University.
