The Riverhawks made the trek to Oregon City, Ore. for the Williamette Falls Invitational and its boys squad totaled 42 points to finish sixth overall while the girls was ninth with 28 points.
Treyton Marty triumphed in the 3,000-meter run, blitzing to a time of 9 minutes, 32.74 seconds as the junior put in a full day of running. He placed fifth in the 1,500 and teamed with Trevin Gale, Bryson Trosper and Jordan Mckenzie to finish second in the 1,600-meter relay in 3:38.99.
Gale, Trosper and Mckenzie plus Adam Kruger recorded a third place finish in the 400 relay. Gale placed sixth in the open 100 and Kruger leaped 38-04.75 to garner third in the triple jump. Toledo’s Cooper Fallon (discus) finished fifth.
For the girls, freshman Haylee Wolfe secured a victory in the 1,500, beating a 10-person field and cruising to a 15-second win. Jasmine Kemmerer recorded two top-six finishes in the 300 hurdles (second) and long jump (sixth) while Lyndzie Filla placed third in the javelin.
