Controlling the tempo throughout, the Centralia College men’s basketball team picked up its second NWAC West win of the season against Highline, 70-56, Wednesday night in Des Moines.
The Trailblazers got five players in double figures for the first time this season, led by Trevion Frazier’s 17 points. Deshawn Keperling dropped a 10-point, 11-rebound double-double, and Raymond Guillory (15 points), Juelz Mendoza (13 points), and Adrian Brown (12 points), also each logged double figure scoring nights.
Centralia shot 58% from the floor, and held the Thunderbirds to 34.3% shooting from the field in a mostly dominant performance.
Next up for the Trailblazers (4-13, 2-1 NWAC West) is a matchup against Tacoma in Centralia on Saturday at 4 p.m.
