Trojans Stifle Eagles

Holding Three Rivers Christian to single digits in each quarter, the Pe Ell boys basketball team upended its league foe, 50-20, Thursday night.

The Trojans got two double-digit scoring nights from Logan Baldwin and Kail Homan, and the pair also led the way on the boards, with Baldwin tracking down 10 and Homan pulling eight boards.

“Great contributions from all 12 Trojan players after a back-to-back-to-back stretch of games,” coach Chris Phelps said. “Our young men showed resilience, holding them to 20 points after three straight games. These are tough kids. We may not light up the scoreboard at times, but this win just felt good. Logan and Kail just did what they have done all year leading us in scoring. We are looking forward to finishing strong as I know we will.”

Pe Ell gets a bit of a break before taking on Willapa Valley next Tuesday in Menlo.
