Tuesday's Men's College Basketball: Centralia Falls to Lane to Open Centralia College Crossover

Lane’s Ty Horner made a layup with four seconds remaining to lift the Titans to a 74-72 win against Centralia in a NWAC men’s basketball game at the Centralia College Crossover on Tuesday at Michael Smith Gymnasium.

Jaylin Walker and Tyler Meadows each scored 16 points for the Blazers and Meadows grabbed eight rebounds and dished out five assists. Taylor Peppinger added 15 points, Elijah Hoover tallied 12 points and Tyler Ashomre contributed 10 points.

Horner led the Titans with 16 points and Dominic McGarvey scored 15 points.



Centralia shot 40 percent from the field while Lane shot 42 percent, including 5 of 29 from behind the arc.

The Titans led 33-31 at halftime. Ashmore made a layup with 21 seconds left in the game to even the score at 72, but Lane made the final bucket to take the victory.

Centralia (3-5) hosts Wenatchee Valley at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
