Tumwater rolls past Montesano to remain unbeaten

Make it 4-0 for the Tumwater boys basketball team, which destroyed Montesano 69-23 at the Adna Holiday Classic on Friday.

The T-Birds were in complete control from the opening jump ball, and 11 different Thunderbirds ended up getting on the scoreboard.

Joshua Schlecht led the way with 15 points, while Jake Dillon scored 12 and Luke Overbay added 10. Overbay also ended the night with five rebounds.

Landon Anchors and Beckett Wall both added six points. Anchors added four rebounds and four steals, and Wall grabbed five rebounds of his own.

Bryce Morgan added five points and nabbed five steals defensively, while Sahara Anthony logged five assists and three points and Braeden Konrad added four rebounds and two points.

Tumwater (4-0) will play its second and final game at the Adna Holiday Classic against the hosting Pirates on Saturday night.
