Fueled by their Nos. 3-5 golfers all shooting in the mid-40s, the Thunderbirds upended the Wolves 210-224 on Wednesday afternoon at Tumwater Valley Golf Course in an Evergreen Conference dual.

The top-two golfers for both sides turned in similar scorecards. Tumwater’s Landen Baydo and Black Hills’ Jack Casler tied for medalist honors with a 38 while Zane Laposky (Tumwater) and Logan Stallings (Black Hills) fired a 39.

The difference was the T-Birds trio of Braeden Konrad (41), Baylor Olson (45) and Scott Ellis (47) finishing ahead of the Wolves’ number three golfer Phoenix Flores (49).

Ethan Badger and Ezra Harris also shot a 49 for Black Hills, who have a week off before facing Centralia at Riverside. Meanwhile, Tumwater will host Aberdeen on Monday in a league contest.
