Vancouver police arrest man on indecent exposure allegations at Clark College

Vancouver police say they arrested a man on allegations of indecent exposure after two incidents on the Clark College campus last week.

Nolen P. Sanchez on Sunday remained in the Clark County Jail on allegations of fourth-degree assault with sexual motivation and indecent exposure.

The charges stem from reports from the campus last week, police said. On Thursday, a 17-year-old student said a man followed her when she got off a bus, asked her questions and made comments “that made her feel uncomfortable and scared,” police said.

Campus security workers found a man matching the description the woman provided. The man, police said, was sitting in a public area of campus “appearing to be masturbating.”

The same day, he allegedly slapped a woman employee on the backside.

On Friday, Vancouver police identified the suspect as Sanchez and arrested him the following day.

Earlier this year, a man was accused of stabbing a Clark College employee in a random attack. He was arrested a half-mile from campus. The woman survived the attack.
