The whole family is invited to “Trunks With Treats,” a free evening of trick-or-treating among classic cars and trucks with trunks full of candy at the Veterans Memorial Museum, 100 SW Veterans Way, Chehalis, this Saturday, Oct. 30, starting at 4 p.m.

More trick-or-treating opportunities will be available inside the museum’s gallery, which will be open to the public. According to the museum, it is the “perfect time to wear a mask.”

Costumes are encouraged.

Last year, this event drew thousands of visitors, so attendees are encouraged to come early to ensure everyone leaves with a bucket full of candy. The museum has already collected over 1,000 pounds of candy from local businesses to dole out.

Trunks With Treats will end around sundown. At 8 p.m., the museum will host its monthly Movies by the Dashboard Light drive-in movie. This time, it will be “Rocky Horror Picture Show.” Admission to the film is first-come, first-served, by donation to the museum. Popcorn, drinks and food available.
