Vikings Blast Chief Leschi for Second-Straight Win

Mossyrock quarterback Easton Kolb had three touchdowns and three other Vikings each scored twice as Mossy had little trouble with Chief Leschi for a 60-0 road win in Puyallup Friday.

Eaton Kolb had two passing touchdowns, Keegan Kolb caught both of those TDs and Ben Cruz and Marshall Brockway each tacked on two rushing scores for the Vikings’ electric offense.

The Vikings used a balanced rushing attack, with no rushers eclipsing the 100-yard mark, while Easton Kolb was 5 for 8 passing for 117 yards.

“We were able to get up on them early and get the running clock, which was our goal,” Mossyrock coach Eric Ollikainen said. “We had a lot of young guys step up. Cruz was fun to watch. It’s his first year playing football.”

Ollikainen also praised his defense, including Austin Barnes, for shutting down the Warrior’s offense. Mossyrock held Chief Leschi to -42 yards rushing and seven first downs. The Vikings, meanwhile, ran for 291 yards.

Mossyrock improves to 2-2 and hosts league rival Naselle on Friday.
