Mossyrock made short work of its league rival Willapa Valley Thursday night, sweeping them (25-9, 25-13, 25-7) to continue the Vikings jaunt through districts into the final Saturday afternoon.
Payton Torrey scorched a team-high nine kills and dug up 11 balls to lead the Vikings, and Caelynn Marshall dished out 15 assists in the winning effort. Erin Cournyer had four aces in the victory.
The win means the Vikings will take on Naselle in the district final on Saturday in Winlock. Mossyrock has already swept Naselle twice this season. The Vikings have already locked up a state playoff berth.
