The Mossyrock girls basketball team dropped its second straight game on Saturday, falling to Montesano 43-30.
The Mossyrock offense never got into a groove, as the Vikings scored fewer than 10 points in all four quarters.
“We didn’t shoot as well from the outside against their zone, but we played really hard,” Mossyrock coach Nick Rashoff said. “We were outsized, but battled on the boards and played great team defense.”
Maci Rashoff led the Vikings with nine points, while Taylor Schwartz and Adyson Barrows both added seven.
Kendall Cournyer scored four, and Chesney Schultz tallied three.
The Vikings (5-3) will be off until Friday, Jan, 3, when they’ll head to South Bend to face RSB.
